Pedro Mantica joins Theia Blockchain as Chief Technology Officer

We are excited to announce that Pedro Mantica will join Theia Blockchain as Chief Technology Officer. Pedro is a highly talented engineer and was most recently a senior software engineer at Quora. Prior to Quora, Pedro worked at Kensho Technologies building analytics tools for financial institutions and investment firms. Pedro has a degree in Computer Science from MIT, where he graduated early and at the top of his class. While at MIT, Pedro conducted blockchain research with the head of the MIT Cryptoeconomics Lab. Pedro has two bronze medals from the Iberoamerican Math Olympiad.

Pedro will strengthen our ability to produce market leading research supported by data analytics. In addition to creating tools to gather and analyze on-chain datasets, Pedro will manage our on-premise staking operations and lead our technical diligence efforts.
